FRIDAY FAVES, SPRING DINING EDITION

Between Naps on the Porch

I am so excited that warmer temps are here (hopefully to stay until next Winter)!  So, I’m dreaming of outdoor dining.  We’d all love to dine on the screened porch at Between Naps on the Porch.

Applestone Cottage

And we’d all love to dine in this charming and fun atmosphere at Applestone Cottage.

On the At Home in Arkansas site, I found a few other places I’d like to dine.

At Home in Arkansas

Oh what a view!  There is something about dining outdoors that makes the food taste better.

At Home in Ark

At Home in Arkansas

I am crazy over this little arbor.  It looks so inviting and comfortable.  I love the style of the structure and those old shutters on the back wall.  The furnishings look so European.  I’d feel like I was dining in France.

I bet cooking is more fun when you are doing it in an outdoor kitchen.  Talk about hot off the grill – just take that steak off the grill, and I’ll hold my plate across the island, and the cook can give me a hot steak.

At Home in Arkansas

Doesn’t this look like a fun place to dine?  I love those giant pots filled with flowers.

At Home in Arkansas

I assume that wall is the house.  Doesn’t that wall look beautiful, not to mention that big stone fireplace and the wonderful architecture mounted over it?  Such a peaceful place to dine, and with a fire in that fireplace, I might even be able to dine there before Spring and into the Fall.

At Home in Arkansas

In this photo, there’s not a table set up for dining, but I can just imagine how nice it would be to practically be sitting in the lake while dining.  I see ceiling fans to create a breeze to keep me from getting too hot, and the ceiling is vented too.  Yep!  I could have a meal or two here.

At Home in Arkansas

Another “outdoor” spot that I could use for dining almost all year.  I’d just set up a table and pull up the chairs, and we could enjoy dining outdoors, sans mosquitos.

I’m sooo ready.  How about you?  Thank you for stopping in to dream awhile with me.  laurie

HI Laurie,
I finally found time to read blogs and here I find my back porch. Your so sweet, mine looks like the poor mans version compared to some of the others.
I miss blogging and I am going to try to get caught up.
I am so hoping for some spring weather...even some 40's makes us happy right now. Hugs friend..and I'll be back to visit soon.

Well I could enjoy myself at all of these settings! I love that scene by the river. It reminds me of how we need to relish those casual summer days and enjoy them more with friends!
I am going to try my dining set out on the flagstone patio this year instead of on the deck by the house. Can't wait to start grilling outside again!!

Hi Laurie, love all these settings and the great ideas here. Those large stone pots filled with palms and flowers is stunning by the pool. With warmer weather on the way, I am so ready to work outside and get the porch and dining area ready to enjoy. Thanks for sharing these great photos for Friday Faves.
Happy Spring!
Hugs

Laurie, I'm ready for alfresco meals on the terrace. Hopefully spring is here, though they predict rain for the weekend and the following week.
Great inspiration photos! I'm dreaming……..
