FRIDAY FAVES-SHUYLER SAMPERTON EDITION

SHUYLER SAMPERTON INTERIOR DESIGN

I found a lot of faves on the Shuyler Samperton Interior Design site.  I think I could (and probably would) throw a party in this huge bathroom.  I love the floor tiles, the tub, the tub fixtures, the vanity, that giant framed art, and the door to outside.  I do think the room deserves an overhead light fixture that makes more of a statement.

The vanity looks like a converted piece of vintage furniture, but I know that could be replicated.  Vintage or replicated, I love it.  I don’t think those fixtures on the top of the cabinet are functional, but I sure do like the way they give the impression of water spigots.  Gorgeous marble surround and sink rims.

Isn’t this tall bookcase extraordinary.  I’ve always loved a bookcase that required a ladder to reach the books on the top shelves (although it appears that they are still acquiring books for those top shelves.  I also like a well-worn leather sofa.

Such a big bedroom, and of course, the French doors, leading to the patio, are wonderful.  I also like that they have used dark draperies, which probably block the light at night, but open wide in the daytime to take in the view.

These people design sumptuous bathrooms.  Isn’t this bathtub sexy looking, and I love that it sits in a bay window.  The tile work is also gorgeous.

I’m not really sure what it is that makes this little corner call to me.  I know I love the pretty wallpaper inside the panels.  This just looks serene to me.

I could do some serious blogging in this room!  I think I’d be very inspired in this space.  Look at all of that fabulous storage.  Did you notice the  ceiling?  So unique.  A beautiful chandelier dresses up this functional space.

Thanks for coming along to dream with me.  I hope you found some inspiration, and I wish you a good weekend.  laurie

I think I would add a chandelier to the bath in the first pic, what about you? ;)
