Christmas 2013

Finally, I’m sharing a photo of our 2013 Christmas pageant.  This is a tradition we began years ago.  Our grandchildren and their cousins all participate.  This year’s pageant was so special, because our little miracle baby, Cooper, was here to play the part of Jesus.  For those who have not met Cooper, that chubby baby in the basket weighed 1 pound, 14 ounces, when he was born on November 30, 2012!  As you can see, he is thriving.

I’m putting away the Christmas decorations now.  I hope to have it all finished by Easter!  We had a wonderful Christmas celebration.  I hope you did too.  laurie

I’m linking this post to Seasonal Sundays at The Tablescaper, 2013 Review at Décor Adventures, and 2013 Review at Sas Interiors.

What I loved best about the wonderful pictures was the fact that your nativity scene took the place of honor on your mantel! VERY FEW even showed that they owned a Nativity scene in all the home tours, etc., on line this Christmas season. The grands looked happy and healthy, too!

Finished by Easter! You are too funny, Laurie. I plan to start putting things away this weekend. I'm still enjoying the twinkle of the lights for now.
Cute real nativity. Love that tradition. I need to share that with my sister. There are only 4 grands so they may need to round up a few more players. '-)
All the best for 2014!

Have enjoyed seeing them all again. Love the nativity play, and seeing Cooper doing so well.
I decorated so little this year, so will be easy to put away (did not bother to take pics).
Sounds and looks like your Holidays were very enjoyable.
Have a great weekend.

What a great year of posts! Your family gathering looks like it was a lot of fun. I will start tearing down my Christmas decorating after the first. I hope to organize it a bit more as I go. Good luck on putting yours away- lol about getting done by Easter!
